Schneider Steuerungstechnik GmbH
In 1990, Anton Schneider, his wife Gerda, and their son Klaus founded Schneider Steuerungstechnik GmbH in Maitenbeth (Upper Bavaria).
At the heart of the company: the LiSA elevator control system – the world’s first single-board microprocessor-based control system for elevators. With its compact design (290 × 240 mm) and high performance, LiSA set new standards in the industry.
The first generation, LiSA10, impressed experts worldwide – today, around 50,000 elevators across the globe operate using this technology.
Driven by a passion for technology and a clear vision, Schneider Steuerungstechnik continued to evolve. The continuous optimization of the LiSA10, combined with numerous in-house innovations, led to sustained company growth and established Schneider as one of the leading providers of elevator control systems.
A major milestone was reached in 2016 with the market launch of the completely newly developed LiSA20 – a powerful, future-ready control system designed to meet the most advanced technical requirements.
In the years that followed, the portfolio was steadily expanded to include customized special solutions, new design components, and the integration of innovative software and diagnostic tools.
In 2021, Josef Aschauer took over the company. Under his leadership, Schneider Steuerungstechnik continues to focus on innovation, forward-thinking concepts, and close partnerships – with a clear commitment to quality, customer focus, and technological advancement.
Today, the company employs over 120 people at its Maitenbeth location and stands for high-quality, intelligent products and solutions in the field of elevator technology and elevator electronics.
