The V8 group controller is an advanced version of the V6 group controller, designed as a standalone processing unit that connects LiSA20 or LiSA21 controllers into a group network. Up to 8 controllers can be connected.
The individual LiSA20 or LiSA21 controllers are connected to the Group Controller via RS485 wiring; a connection via CAN-BUS is provided but has not yet been implemented in the software. In addition, the Group Controller features 8 freely programmable I/O.
The supply voltage is +NV from each elevator. A handheld terminal (identical to the LiSA20/21 model) can be connected to the controller to obtain status information about the group (e.g., call distribution) and to perform configurations.
A USB port and an SD slot are available for software updates. An integrated USB interface on the controller enables control of the group controller via external software (monitoring, destination call control).
