The APO14 is the intelligent control center for the elevator car and forms the heart of the entire car installation. As a central connection and distribution board, it simplifies wiring, reduces installation effort, and ensures a clear and service-friendly structure.

With the ability to accommodate up to four LBM-09 BUS modules, the APO14 provides a total of 32 freely programmable inputs and outputs. This allows the car electronics to be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of elevator requirements—from standard systems to complex custom solutions.

In addition to the BUS expansion, the APO14 integrates all key car connections onto a single circuit board. Six printed-circuit relays and two mini-relays handle key functions such as controlling the opening and closing of two doors, cabin lighting, the fan, emergency lighting, and emergency call suppression. Additionally, the circuit board features a connection for the LiSA absolute encoder (AWG), thereby serving as the central interface between the control system and the elevator car.

The clear structure of the connections, the modular expandability, and the integration of numerous functions make the APO14 a powerful and future-proof solution for modern elevator control systems. It reduces wiring effort, simplifies service calls, and creates a reliable foundation for cost-effective system operation.
