The Q50 push buttons are designed for use in Q50 series BUS systems and allow for direct plug-in connections between the push buttons as well as combination with key switches from the same series. This enables up to eight push buttons to be connected directly to a BUS module without additional wiring.

In addition to the plug-in connection, the Q50 push buttons support connection via a 10-pin ribbon cable as well as conventional wiring via screw terminals. The push buttons are coded using jumpers in the range of 1 to 8. Call and acknowledgement signals can be separated via a solder jumper (SJ1) if necessary.

Acknowledgement is provided by default via a red LED. Alternatively, versions with green, blue, or white LEDs are available. Optionally, a bicolor backlight can be integrated.

The Q50 push buttons are designed as NPN versions by default. They are also available as PNP versions, which are clearly marked with a “P” after the version number.
